Hi Claisdad, Thanks for replying.Almost like hearing someone from the grave. I'm not sure what U mean by- "The late season." Draining the SPR is no effect on O&G prices. It is like a drop in the bucket. I too am a believer in refineries and you have some top picks as well as COP- with BR merged I consider it more of a NG play but may be wrong. By the way Syl lost interest in his CNBC new #1 theory. When we gave him data it went mostly insignificant but later with a little overall market move it became valid. He wasn't responding to our work so I just let it run. I was disappointed that he did not respond but guess he only does his thing. He found more lucerative things like burning trees etc. Keep in touch old friend. We jumped on the "signal guy" on the WGR board and you turned polite/apologetic- nice off you to become humble- Ha Ha . I got interested but he was too secret about the whole concept. The leaps are one of the best of breed tools in options. I don't do them as I'n not a long term holder. Take care & keep in touch here on my blog as I hope to create more traffic? Pete/Petri/Max
Sandy, I concur with you on precious metals VS O&G. I stated that on the WGR board several times. One need not expect much support on GOLD sipport as it is considered like "voo do" stuff. It is very jerky and challenging as it seems very volatile. 10 to 20 % change is a day in a commodity is a lot. It is truly a currency surrogate, it is perceived to be a holder of wealth of last resort. It real crisis it is accumulated and Indians and Chines buy this and jewelry and they are more of the with the means to buy. We have so many ciisis that it is hard to relate now. Also buying was legalized in China past year. There are NOW many more eletronic and other exchanges for the mega buyers to trade it. That being said I agree- it's not too late to put ones toes in the water. ie. a little for the long term. Holds value & lasts longer then fiat money. My favorite is silver stocks. Sandy your had a handicap with us guys trying to " check mate" you on the instant private message board with Tex. Thanks for your comments. "Pete" for Max
